National Children’s Month culminates in Cotabato City

IMG_0043As the culminating activity of the celebration of the National Children's Month, the City Government of Cotabato holds the Children's Day today at the People's Palace.

Dozens of Day Care children, workers, and parents attended the activity which highlights the theme "Isulong Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Lahat ng Bata".

City Government champions child care

In its quest of sustaining a child-friendly city, the city government of Cotabato has been religiously implementing programs and projects that concentrate on child care.

As City Mayor Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi reported in her State of the Children Address, the city government has alloted a quarter of its 2016 budget for the proper implementation of children's welfare programs. One of which is the Day Care Service where the city government has allocated 1.9 million pesos.
