o  Authored the following legislations:

§  Resolution No. 15, dated August 18, 1992, “Authorizing the use of a space in the city-owned school building at the Cotabato City Pilot Elementary School by the Department of Social Services and Development (DSWD) for the amelioration of the handicapped and disabled persons, and the Disabled Persons Affairs Center (DPAC).”

§  Resolution No. 17, dated August 18, 1992, “Requesting His Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos to provide funds for the acquisition of lot and construction of a Center for the handicapped.

§  Resolution No. 18, dated August 18, 1992, “Requesting the Sports Commission to cause the construction of a sports complex in Cotabato City.”

§  Resolution No. 194, dated June 4, 1993, “Adopting Senator Leticia Ramos-Shahani as a Daughter of Cotabato City.”

§  Resolution No. 804, dated May 24, 1994, “Earnestly requesting His Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos to declare June 20, 1995 and every June 20 of the year thereafter as a special non-working public holiday in the city of Cotabato.”

§  Resolution No. 814, dated June 19, 1995, “Requesting the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) to include in its insurance coverage the members of the Civilian Volunteer Organizations (CVO), this city.

  • Re-elected as City Councilor in 1995

o   Author of the following:

§  Resolution No. 1109, dated March 12, 1996, “Requesting His Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos to declare October 1 to 7 of every year as National Fraternity and Sorority Week.”

§  Resolution No. 1431, dated February 17, 1997, “Earnestly requesting the Congress of the Philippines to advise all of its Honorable Members as well as all national agencies and offices to conduct periodic consultations with appropriate local government units and non-government organizations.”

§  Resolution No. 1836, dated March 20, 1998, “Resolution requesting His Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos to issue a Presidential Proclamation segregating ten (10) hectares of the land of the public domain at Barangay Kalanganan (Mother) for school site.”

  • First elected as City Vice Mayor in 2001

o   He served as City Vice Mayor for three terms.
