THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF COTABATO

The City of Cotabato became a chartered city pursuant to Republic Act 2364 way back 1959.  The City serves a general purpose of government for the coordination and delivery of basic, regular, and direct services; as well as effective governance of the inhabitants within the territorial jurisdiction of the City.  (Section 448 of RA 7160)
To administer the mandates of the creation of the City, an organization structure and staffing pattern is provided in accordance to M.C. No. 19, s. 1992, Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Section 454, 455 of RA 7160.
The Chief Executive of the City is the City Mayor who shall exercise such powers and functions as provided in Sect. 455, RA 7160 and other laws.

I.  Cotavision
By the Grace of God, and with the climate of democratic principles and opportunities, City Officials together with Heads of NGO'S self reliance of the City by 2013 through sustainable agri-industrial, commerce and trade, politico-administrative and socio-cultural development, progressing from the benefits of peace, as an active proponent of Asian growth.

II.  Organization
To ensure efficient and effective delivery of basic services to the constituents of Cotabato City, the following offices are created:
