AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING THE PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT TEAM (PFMAT) OF COTABATO CITY

 

WHEREAS, Local Government Units are recipients of the Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB);

WHEREAS, LGU-Cotabato City attended the Orientation and workshop on Public Financial Management Assessment Tool on July 2, 2012 at Koronadal City conducted by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) XII;

WHEREAS, the Public Financial Management Assessment (PFMA) Tool was used by the participants of the workshop to assess the public financial management status of their respective Local Government Unit from actual data;

WHEREAS, the PFMA results/status shall be the basis for the formulation of the Public Financial Management Assessment Improvement Plan (PFMAIP) which in turn shall determine the impact in public service delivery;

WHEREAS, a Local Government Unit (LGU) Team shall undertake the formulation of the Public Financial Management Assessment Improvement Plan (PFMAIP);

NOW THEREFORE, I, JAPAL J. GUIANI, JR. Mayor of Cotabato City, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create a Public Financial Management Assessment (PFMA) Team to be composed of the following:
