CREATING THE PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE FUND (PCF) TEAM
FOR THE CITY OF COTABATO FOR 2014-2015
 

WHEREAS, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG, thru the Bureau of Local Government Development, are the offices responsible for localizing the Millennium powers and functions in improving the delivery of basic services and facilities to their constituents;

WHEREAS, the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) for local government unit is an incentive fund in the form of counterpart funding to high-impact capital investment projects in the annual investment program and funded out of the 20% Local Development Fund consistent with the National Development Goals and priorities administered by the DILG in collaboration with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) in recognition of good governance performance, particularly in the adoption of good housekeeping;

WHEREAS, the City of Cotabato has been awarded the Seal of Good Housekeeping thereby entitled to receive Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) subsidy;

WHEREAS, one of the requirements is the creation of the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) Team;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JAPAL J. GUIANI, JR., Mayor of the City of Cotabato, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and compose the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) Team:

SECTION 1 – COMPOSITION

SECTION 2. FUNCTIONS OF THE TEAM:

1. To implement and monitor the projects undertaken by the City Government of Cotabato out of the subsidy given by the DILG under the Performance Challenge Fund;

2. To submit a report to the City Mayor and DILG on the accomplishment and/or utilization and liquidation of the funds.

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in force unless amended and/or rescinded by competent authority.
