Cotabato City lands on 2nd top spot in most competitive cities

City VM Guiani-Sayadi fully supports President's fight against crimes and illegal drugs

The fight against all forms of criminalities is now in full swing as Cotabato City Acting Mayor VM Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi follows the lead of President Rodrigo Duterte in his battle against illegal drugs and other forms of felony.

From the beginning of her first term as the city's vice mayor, Atty. Guiani-Sayadi has been very active not only in presiding every session of the city council but also in joining the city police as they roam around the city streets and conduct checkpoints every night.



Cotabato City LGU named most Competitive City in terms of Government Efficiency

The City Government of Cotabato was named the Most Competitive Independent Component City when it comes to Government Efficiency in the recently conducted search for the Most Competitive Cities and Municipalities in the Philippines and landed on the TOP 5 in the overall ranking.

du30Mayor Guiani was invited by President Duterte for a personal meeting in Davao City, Wednesday. The two talked about Mayor Guiani's plans on expanding the investment potentials of Cotabato City and be able to create more jobs that will be available not only to the people of Cotabato City, but of its neighboring towns and provinces as well.



Vice Mayor Elect Guiani-Sayadi to prioritize Traffic Ordinance and Eco Park

Cotabato City's newly elected Vice Mayor Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi is now preparing the priority ordinances and projects that the Sangguniang Panlungsod under her chairmanship will be passing.

Her top priority will be looking into the city's existing traffic ordinance and amend its provisions that no longer fit to the current traffic situation in Cotabato City. Vice Mayor Guiani-Sayadi plans to impose stiffer penalties to those who violate the traffic rules and also to implement rerouting of vehicles to decongest the main thoroughfares of the city especially during peak hours.
