Reward Money to be given to Cotabateños who can positively identify Illegal Gambling activities

Four video karera machines were successfully destroyed this morning inside the People's Palace Compound. After the presentation of the City PNP to Mayor Japal Guiani, Jr, he personally hammered the chips used by the machines to operate and then were smashed by a road roller and a payloader.

OPLAN KANDADO starts. Twenty eight establishments, closed because of operating without permits.

The Task Force on the Closure of Unlicensed Business Establishment of the City Government has started its operation, Tuesday. Out of the 57 identified establishments operating illegally in the city, closure orders were already served to 28.

Disaster Relief Report (as of July 11, 2011)

The sun is now shining in Cotabato City. With the temperature of 26 degrees, it is a hot day for the Cotabateños. Because of the conitnuous good weather that we are experiencing, floodwaters have eventually subsided in most of the villages affected by the recent calamity.

Officials of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines paid courtesies to Cotabato City Mayor Japal Guiani, Jr. after donating several food items to be distributed to the flood victims of the city.More families are now returning to their homes after floodwaters have completely subsided in most of the barangays affected in the city. As of today, there are still 5 villages that are submerged in water and the local government continues to monitor the situation in the said areas.
