City Government champions child care

In its quest of sustaining a child-friendly city, the city government of Cotabato has been religiously implementing programs and projects that concentrate on child care.

As City Mayor Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi reported in her State of the Children Address, the city government has alloted a quarter of its 2016 budget for the proper implementation of children's welfare programs. One of which is the Day Care Service where the city government has allocated 1.9 million pesos.

Cotabato City receives Dental Health Bus from DOH

14808096_1229120900477354_945500110_oA state-of-the-art Dental Health Bus was donated by the Department of Health to the City Government of Cotabato following the request from the city’s Office on Health Services.

This 3 million peso dental bus is equipped with several facilities to include two fully motorized dental units and chairs, two sets of stainless steel dental instruments, medicines, and it is fully air conditioned.

Cotabato City celebrates the Global Handwashing Day on its second year today.

IMG_0029Sixty-two (62) daycare centers from all over the city joined the occasion that ended with a simultaneous ceremonial handwashing.

In her message, City Mayor Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi reminded the parents to always supervise their children to make sure that they are always washing their hands after any activity and before eating.
